Really looking forward to the next one! When you wrote that it isn’t clear what result feedback will have in the world with optimal control, do you mean in terms of closed loop trajectories or vector fields of the system? Optimal control (supposedly at least) will be minimizing some cost and that should be a clear signal what the system will be doing, right? Like in your example with the dog and the coffee, the cost function is a clearish description of what the system will do, vs some family of trajectories or feedback rules.
